Dragon’s Den Arlene Dickinson Sets Condition for Esprit Rafting

Best Western Pembroke Inn and Conference attended the Sunset Celebration, held August 7th at Esprit Rafting, to show its support to fellow Tourism Partner Jim Coffey and his staff as they compete in The Bid Decision. Arlene Dickinson was on hand taping for an upcoming episode. The support by both Pembroke and Pontiac communities was overwhelming. We wish them all the best.

Esprit Rafting is being featured in an up coming episode of the CBC television series; “The Big Decision”.  Investor, Entrepreneur and Marketing expert Arlene Dickenson challenged Esprit to host a community event emphasizing their role in the community. Also put to task is their ability to rally and network people together.

Best Western Pembroke Inn and Conference Centre attended the event, called  “Sunset Celebration”, held August 7th at Esprit Rafting, to show its support to fellow Tourism Partner Jim Coffey ( founder and director of Espirt) and his staff. Arlene Dickinson was on hand with her CBC crew to the enjoyment of many who gathered around her for a photo op.  The support by both Pembroke and Pontiac communities was overwhelming. There was local music, dancers,  food, drinks, a corn roast, as well as a tribute to the Ottawa River and its importance to the community.

Esprit needed 1000 people to attend to make the event a success, which I am sure they surpassed.

Esprit’s potential gain is a $250,000 investment from Arlene as well as a lot of positive exposure for the Pontiac and the Ottawa Valley. We wish them all the best!

The episode will air sometime in the fall on CBC.
