Every year the Pembroke area is honored by the presence of Jason Blaine and the Celebrity Golf Classic event Jason so humbly spearheads. This year was no exception with a fun-filled day of entertainment, dancing, games and celebrity mingling.

They entertained for about 2 hours with live auctions and lots of dancing. Some of the items included a signed Doug Gilmour jersey, breakfast with the stars and Golf with the stars. The Best Western Pembroke Inn’s 4th annual Zombie Thrill Run 2016 was a great day. With more zombies, more participants and if it’s possible even more fun this Zombie Thrill Run we hope will be remembered as a fun-filled day for all! Our goal was to raise $25,000 for Carfor’s Mental Health unit in Pembroke. Thanks to your care and support, we raised very close to our goal. Thank you for making our event such a great success!

This event features live music including The Schminks, Age of Atomic and more. We’ll also have an Arm Wrestling Competition, Auction Items, Men’s Health Exhibits, Moustache Costume Contests and much, much more!

Pie Throwing For a Cause Raises $500 for Wendy
Wendy Johnson works in the kitchen in the dishpit. She is going to the Vancouver Special Olympics this August to compete in 5 pin bowling and needs to raise $1000 to help offset her expenses. Best Western Pembroke Inn wanted to help Wendy. We decided to have a pie throwing contest.
