Message From Dale Gagne
General Manager of BEST WESTERN Pembroke Inn & Conference Centre
The Best Western Pembroke Inn & Conference Centre Team survived Sabstock 6! This year proved to be the best yet, with great weather, amazing music, friendly people and our Ottawa Valley Charm shining through.
From Honeymooon Suite on Friday night, April Wine on Saturday, Harper & the Midwest Kind on Sunday and of course SAB & the Family Band, every day was filled with electric performances that thrilled the crowds. We made some great new friends and chatted with old ones at the Best Western booth all weekend long. We have been a part of this festival since day one, and look forward to following that tradition year after year as a Main Stage Sponsor and Festival Partner.
Pie Throwing For a Cause Raises $500 for Wendy
Wendy Johnson works in the kitchen in the dishpit. She is going to the Vancouver Special Olympics this August to compete in 5 pin bowling and needs to raise $1000 to help offset her expenses. Best Western Pembroke Inn wanted to help Wendy. We decided to have a pie throwing contest. Here are some of the images from that day where our executive chef of Westwinds Restaurant and the General Manager of the hotel seemed to be prime targets of the pie throwers.Read More »FUNDRAISER: Helping Wendy Reach Her Goal for The Special Olympics
